چکیده
Gas sensors are essential in several fields and, general, features such as high sensitivity, quick response, and fast recovery required, along with low power consumption cost. Graphene is considered a promising material for gas sensing applications, its functionalization often being requisite. In the present study, we developed competitive ammonia detection. Interestingly, an easy efficient method to functionalize graphene by using diazonium chemistry different functional groups. Moreover, prove superior capability of our covalently modified layers. These experimental data have been consistently interpreted theoretical calculations, which reveal defect-driven sensor's response ammonia. results open possibility comprehensive design use these graphene-based real applications.

15 صفحه اولSelective detection of vapor phase hydrogen peroxide with phthalocyanine chemiresistors.
The use of hydrogen peroxide as a precursor to improvised explosives has made its detection a topic of critical importance. Chemiresistor arrays comprised of 50 nm thick films of metallophthalocyanines (MPcs) are redox selective vapor sensors of hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is shown to decrease currents in cobalt phthalocyanine sensors while it increases currents in nickel, copper, and ...

cluster ions is a function of cluster size with reactivity decreasing as cluster size increases. Ethanol cluster ion distributions that formed at atmospheric pressure from 24 ppbv, 900 ppmv, and 1% ethanol/N2 gas mixtures were studied. Small (C2H5OH)nH + clusters, those formed using the 24 ppbv ethanol/N2 mixture, react at or near the collisional rate with DMSO, NH3, acetone, and methyl vinyl k...

We have developed a significantly improved chemiresistor for sensing volatile organic compounds that consists of Au-coated Ni particles organized into electrically conducting pathways in a polymer matrix by a magnetic field [1]. This sensor overcomes the problems inherent to conventional carbon-black chemiresistors, while achieving an unprecedented magnitude of response. When exposed to chemica...
متن کاملEffect of Chemical Amendments on Ammonia Volatilization from Poultry Litter
Ammonia (NH3) volatilization from poultry litter results in a buildup of atmospheric NH3 in chicken houses, which is detrimental to both farm laborers and birds. Ammonia loss from litter is detrimental to the external environment because it results in acid rain, as well as low N/P ratios in litter, which increase the likelihood of excessive P runoff into adjacent water bodies. The objectives of...
